It is hard to believe that we are in the final 2 weeks of the season! This is a busy time for our Coaches as they work on 4 line-ups in a 7 day period.

To help out the Coaches I ask that everyone go in and declare your swimmers for ALL of the remaining meets. Please let us know if you can OR can't attend. This will help our Coaches as they determine who will swim in what meet. Information about each meet is below. 

July 22nd, Rollingwood v. CA @ 8:30am- AWAY

Please sign up your swimmer. If your swimmer would like to swim an event they have not swam please put a note for the Coaches for their consideration. We only have a few people who have RSVP'd for the last dual meet. We also need volunteers! Sign up TODAY. 

July 23rd is a VERY busy day for our Coaches. They look at all the results of the season and determine the swimmers for Cam Diamond and Divisional. To be eligible for Divisional a swimmer must have swum in at least two (2) CMSL dual meets and have one of the top 3 times for that event this season. A swimmer can only participate in a total of 3 events, including relays. 

July 24th, Monday, CAM DIAMOND @ 4:30pm- HOME

We will be hosting 5-7 teams! They are local teams--Two Rivers, Crofton Country Club, Waugh Chapel, Crofton Village, Shipley, etc.  It is a lot of fun. Cam Diamond is generally for the swimmers not going to Divisionals. It is the novice championship meet. Your swimmer is eligible for Cam Diamond if they are in 1, or fewer,  individual event at Divisionals. The swimmer is not eligible to swim the event they qualified to swim at Divisionals. 

We need lots of volunteers. We normally have a number of high school students that volunteer to meet their volunteer hour requirement. If you have a high schooler, or know someone, that would like to earn volunteer hours please have them reach out. 

July 26th, Wed, Straehle @ 8am- Padonia

To qualify, a swimmer must have swum in at least 2 CMSL dual meets and made a qualifying time. A qualifier can be entered into 3 events and a relay. The Coaches will contact your swimmer and determine the events they wish to swim. 

We have a few qualifying relays. They are- 11-12 girls, 13-14 girls, 13-14 boys, 15 and over mixed. We can only have 1 relay per age group. We will reach out to each relay and confirm if they are willing to attend. 

Straehle T-shirt Order google form must be completed. I have to place the Order by Thursday, July 20th. At the moment I only have 7 orders.

July 29th, Saturday, Divisionals @ Rollingwood (Warm-up TBD)

It is VERY important that you declare your swimmer. To be eligible for Divisionals a swimmer must have swum in at least two (2) CMSL dual meets and have one of the top 3 times for that event this season. A swimmer can only participate in a total of 3 events, including relays. That means if a swimmer is the top in every event, we often have to go to the 4th or 5th fastest swimmer. Additionally, if your swimmer will be unable to attend we move down the list. 

We will need volunteers but have not received from Rollingwood what they need from our team. 

July 30th- Award Party @ CSTC parking lot. We will be moving it a bit earlier in the day. Time TBD but likely early afternoon.
