Dear CATS Families,

We are kicking off another fantastic CATS summer swim season! Coach Braiden Severin leads our team again this year, and we are ready for a fun and competitive summer. With roughly 160 swimmers, CATS continues to grow and strengthen our team culture. We focus on building strong stroke technique, increasing swimmer confidence, and creating a fun, energetic atmosphere on deck. As a newer team in GASL, we are especially excited about the fun new relay events that differ from CMSL and bring extra energy and excitement to our meets.

Important Dates:

• Time Trials – 6/6
• Meets – 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/1 or 7/3, 7/11
• Cam Diamond (tentative) – 7/13
• Bronze Meet – 7/15- Host Bay Ridge and South River
• Silver Meet – 7/18- Host Bay Hills and Severn River
• Gold Meet – 7/19- Host Hillsmere

We compete in Division A, one of the most competitive divisions in the league, alongside Davidsonville, Indian Hills, Hillsmere, Hunt Meadow, and Harting Farm.

We will confirm home vs. away meet schedules following the GASL May meeting.

Registration opens April 1 at 5:00 PM.
Our evening swim program is limited to 25 swimmers and fills quickly.

Stroke & Turn Officials.  We are seeking additional parent Stroke and Turn officials. This role offers a great way to fulfill your volunteer requirement while getting a front-row view of the action. If you are interested, please contact Elizabeth Ruddy at [email protected].

Team Sponsor. We are seeking team sponsors to support our swimmers. Sponsorship allows every swimmer to receive a free  swim cap and team shirt and gives local businesses the opportunity to be showcased throughout the season.
