TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!!

Take away from this email if you stop reading

1. DECLARE YOUR SWIMMER for all meets NOW — if you're a "maybe" on any date, declare YES. We can always remove you, but we cannot add you last minute.

2. VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP opens TODAY at 6:00 PM  for all meets.

3. TIME TRIALS on 6/6. We have 84 swimmers that have not told us if they can come or not. Please please let us know either way so that we can create the heat sheets for the event. 

HOW TO DECLARE YOUR SWIMMER IN SWIMTOPIA

Follow these steps to declare your swimmer for meets: 

1. Go to the CSTC website. Click on swim team. 

2. Scroll to the Swimtopia button on the page.

3. Select Meet Declarations from the menu 

4. You will see a list of all upcoming meets — click each meet and select "Declare" for your swimmer. (If you have multiple swimmers you will need to do this for each swimmer.)

****If you are unsure about a meet date, declare YES anyway. You can always withdraw before the declaration deadline, but late additions are not possible once the roster is submitted to the opposing team. 

MANDATORY VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT. Per the CATS Team Handbook, volunteering is a requirement for all CATS families — not optional! Here's what you need to know:  

1) If you have 1 swimmer you are required to volunteer for 3 shifts. Each shift is 1/2 the meet. 

2) If you have more 2 or more swimmers on the team you are required to volunteer for 4 shifts. 

3) You must sign up by June 11th. 

4) If you don't volunteer your child can't swim in the meets and you may be fined $150.00 per missed volunteer requirement. 

• 1 swimmer on the team: Sign up for 3 volunteer spots, with at least 1 being at an away meet.
• 2 or more swimmers on the team: Sign up for 4 volunteer spots, with at least 2 being at away meets
