Year Round Swim Team Info and Try-Out Information

We know we're just getting started with summer swim, but we wanted to give you a heads up early: year-round tryouts for some Anne Arundel County club teams start as soon as next week. So even though it feels early, it's worth thinking about now if your swimmer might be interested. Anne Arundel County has a couple of great club teams and most are holding tryouts soon.
What is year-round swimming?
It's a club team that practices and competes outside the summer league season (roughly September–July). The teams compete in Maryland with some travel to VA or PA. As the swimmers get older the commitment is larger and the travel gets a bit farther. For 12 & under swimmers, it's not a big commitment, and most teams allow swimmers to keep doing soccer, lacrosse, or other sports at the same time. It is a great sport to have fun, meet new friends from all over the county, and compete at a different level.
I have provided the tryout links and information below. If a link does not work, just log onto the teams websites and you will be able to register.
If your swimmer has any interest, I encourage you to sign them up. They can always choose not to do it after the tryouts. Also, since space can be limited on these teams, we'd recommend trying out for all three if your swimmer is interested — it keeps your options open and there's no harm in seeing where they land.
